3A. 官网登记(alpmate.nz)
雪道和缆车数据来自 OpenStreetMap(© OpenStreetMap contributors),内置在雪伴里,查看时不联网。

English summary
AlpMate (雪伴) is a ski safety and tracking app: alert ski patrol and your emergency contacts faster, record ski days, view piste maps and see your team on the map. AlpMate Patrol is the companion app for resort ski patrols. AlpMate is a safety support tool, not an emergency service, and does not provide medical or rescue services. In a life-threatening emergency, call 111 first. Providing information is voluntary; if you don't, the related feature (such as teams, ski tracking or alerting patrol) won't work, but the rest of the app will.
- On your device only: profile, ski level, ski tracks (when not signed in), emergency contacts, your medical card, trips and settings. These are not uploaded, except that when you alert ski patrol with medical-card sharing on, your medical card and your first emergency contact are sent to that resort's patrol (see below). If you turn on "Show on Lock Screen while skiing", the items you choose from blood type, allergies and medical conditions (never medications, insurance or emergency contacts) appear on this phone's Lock Screen while you record, where anyone holding the phone can see them without unlocking; this is shown on your phone only and is not uploaded.
- Shared with your team only when you join one: an anonymous account ID, your team nickname, your avatar (a 160-pixel thumbnail, if you set one), your latest location (only the most recent point, plus your battery level and whether it is charging, and — while recording — whether you are skiing, on a lift or stopped, so teammates can tell why you went quiet), and the text, voice, photo and short video messages you send. Locations and messages are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Leaving a team deletes your membership, avatar and location immediately. Your account ID stays on the server until your account is deleted; deleting the app alone does not delete it. Data is stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia, and access rules prevent anyone outside the team from reading it.
- Terms acceptance: when you tap "Agree and continue" on first launch, we record your account ID, the version of the Terms of Use you agreed to, the time, and the app language and version, to show which terms you accepted. It is kept until your account is deleted. The Terms of Use are in the app (Settings → Privacy & safety).
- Website sign-ups (alpmate.nz): if you ask to be notified at launch or send a resort pilot enquiry, we store what you enter (email, and for resorts your name, role, resort and message), the time, the page language and a one-way hash of your network address (kept 7 days, only to stop abuse). We use it only to send one launch email or reply to your enquiry. Launch-notification emails are deleted 12 months after the launch email; ask privacy@alpmate.nz to delete earlier.
- Optional sign-in: with email (we store your email address, used only to send sign-in codes from hello@alpmate.nz via Apple iCloud Mail) or Sign in with Apple (we store the Apple account identifier; with "Hide My Email" we only get Apple's relay address). Signing in lets your team, avatar and nickname follow you to a new phone. Ski tracking requires sign-in: your recorded tracks (times, GPS points, speed, altitude and stats) are backed up to your account in Sydney and are visible only to you; deleting a track or your account deletes the backup. We never send marketing email or share your address. You can delete your account in the app (Me → Account → Delete account).
- Permissions: location is used while recording a ski day or showing your position. Background location is used only while recording. The microphone is used only while you hold the talk button. The camera and photos are used to pick an avatar and to send photos or short videos to your team or in a direct message; only what you choose is uploaded, and team messages are deleted after 24 hours.
- SOS: the app opens the iPhone's own Phone and Messages apps. It does not place calls or send messages by itself, and it cannot confirm that rescue services have responded.
- Alerting ski patrol (at resorts using AlpMate Patrol, only when you tap it): your location (updated every 15 seconds until the alert is closed), nickname, app language, callback number, notes and — only if you turned on sharing — your medical card are sent to that resort's patrollers. This is used so the patrol can find you, understand what happened and contact you. You and the patrol can exchange text and voice messages (voice is transcribed with Apple speech recognition, which may send audio to Apple). When a patroller accepts, you can see how far away they are. Alerts are deleted after 30 days; if the patrol completes an incident report, it is kept in AlpMate for up to 2 years for the resort's safety reporting; if the resort is legally required to keep it longer, it exports and keeps it under its own policies.
- Getting help for someone else: your location (as the casualty's location), the condition you select, notes, your nickname and callback number, and an optional scene photo (visible only to you and the resort's patrol, deleted after 30 days). Your own medical card is not sent. If you are the injured person, this information about you was sent by a bystander so you could get help quickly; it is used only by that resort's patrol and you can ask to see, correct or delete it.
- Resort responsibility: once an alert is sent, the resort's patrol decides how to respond and how to use the information. Alert and incident records are the resort's responsibility; AlpMate provides and hosts the system for the resort and does not use the information for anything else.
- Notifications: we store this device's push token and app language to deliver patrol replies via Apple Push Notification service.
- AlpMate Patrol (for invited ski patrollers): while you are on duty the app uses location in the background and shares your latest position with your resort's patrol and, once you accept an alert, with that skier. Going off duty deletes your position. As your employer, the resort may use your on-duty location and alert records for dispatch, safety statistics and incident investigations. Before sending an alert, skiers can see how many patrollers are on duty at the resort (a number only, with no names or locations).
- Health and Apple Watch: heart rate and active energy are read from Health to show in your ski day, and ski workouts are saved to Health. If you are signed in, a day's average/max heart rate and calories are backed up with your ski track, visible only to you. Health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.
- Maps and weather: maps are Apple Maps (MapKit). The SOS text message includes a Google Maps link, which only contacts Google if the recipient opens it. Resort weather comes from Open-Meteo; only the resort's coordinates are sent (not your location).
- Ski community (optional, 16+): browsing is open; posting, commenting, liking, saving, following, messaging and meetups need a signed-in account, confirming you are 16 or older and agreeing to the community rules (we record when and which version). Visible to everyone using AlpMate: your community profile (nickname, avatar, cover, ski/board, level, bio, country only, ski profile details only if you turn them on — runs you ski, seasons, stance, favourite terrain, and home resort as a separate switch — and — unless you turn it off in community settings, which also deletes it from the server — your rank, medals and season stats), your posts (title, text, up to 9 photos with location metadata removed, category, the place you choose, date, and any ski-day track summary you attach), comments, likes, saves, follows and meetups. Direct messages are visible only to you and the other person; until they reply (or you follow each other) you can send one text message; after that you can also send voice messages (up to 60 seconds), photos and videos (up to 30 seconds, compressed before upload). Direct-message files are kept in a private storage area only the two of you can open; photos and videos are deleted after 90 days, voice messages are kept like text. You can unsend a message within 2 minutes; its content and file are then deleted from the server (a notification already shown cannot be recalled). Group chats (up to 50 people, only people you follow each other with or have messaged with can be added) work the same way and are visible only to members; the group name, members, read positions, any group nickname you set (shown only in that group) and join/leave notes are stored. Your past messages stay in a group after you leave, until you delete your account. You can also send a team invite (team name and invite code) in a direct message or group chat. Tapping "Transcribe" on a voice message you received uses Apple speech recognition on your phone (audio may be sent to Apple); the text is not uploaded. The top of a direct-message chat shows the other person's "ski card": their ski style, level and any ski profile details they chose to make public, plus what you have in common (worked out on your phone only, not uploaded). Posts and comments stay until you delete them or your account; direct messages and notifications stay until either person deletes their account. You can block people and report posts, comments, users or messages; content reported by 3 people is hidden until we review it, and reviewers see the reported content (for a message, that message and its context). Rule-breaking content may be removed and accounts may be barred from the community. Place search text is sent to Apple Maps; to show your country, your approximate location is sent to Apple to look up the country, and we keep only the country. Direct-message push notifications show the sender's nickname and the start of the message ("[Voice message]", "[Photo]" or "[Video]" for media). What you post publicly can be screenshotted by others, so please don't share personal details.
- No ads, no tracking (no IDFA), no third-party analytics, no data sales.
- Disclosure required by law: we only share information with others where the law requires or allows it, for example when Police, a coroner or WorkSafe lawfully request it to investigate a serious accident, or to prevent a serious threat to someone's life or health. Since 12 October 2026 AlpMate has been operated by AlpMate Technologies Limited (previously by its founder Xiaochen Lan personally); your information has moved to the company and stays under this policy. If the operator changes again (for example through a sale or merger), we will tell you in the app.
- Where data is stored: servers are Supabase in Sydney, Australia; sign-in emails are sent from hello@alpmate.nz via Apple iCloud Mail; push notifications, maps, speech recognition and Health are also provided by Apple.
